Matt Beltz is responsible for sourcing and supporting banking transactions in the property & casualty, life & health, insurtech, and distribution sectors.
A sixteen-year veteran of Allstate, Mr. Beltz demonstrated success in executing large and small acquisitions and divestitures, with expertise in valuation and deal structure. He was responsible for leading strategy, valuation, and integrations for the $4.0B acquisition of National General and the $270M Safe Auto acquisition. While at Allstate, he participated in numerous capital markets transactions including ~$2B in refinanced hybrid and senior debt. Additionally, he led valuation and project management for the $1.0B acquisition of Esurance and Answer Financial and contributed to the Lincoln Benefit Life divestiture to Resolution Group ($600M).
Most recently as president of Allstate Business Insurance: Strategic Partnerships, he was responsible for the top and bottom-line results of a business with over half a billion in revenue that insured large Shared Economy Accounts.
Mr. Beltz received a B.A. in Mathematics, Public Administration, Political Science, and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and an M.B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter holder since 2010.
